Abstract
The transfer of land ownership rights through sale and purchase is a crucial aspect of land law in Indonesia. This process is governed by various laws and regulations to ensure legal certainty for the public. This study aims to analyze the implementation of land ownership transfers through sale and purchase and identify the challenges encountered in this process at the Land Office of Mamuju Regency. The research employs a normative-empirical method, combining a statutory approach with interviews with relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that despite the existing regulations, several challenges persist in implementation, such as the lack of public awareness regarding land administration procedures and the limited dissemination of information by relevant authorities. Therefore, improvements in the land administration system and enhanced public understanding of land sale and purchase procedures are necessary to ensure a more efficient and legally secure process.
